Connect on LinkedIn LinkedInPhysics & Electronics is an educational platform focused on simplifying engineering concepts through intuitive explanations, electronics fundamentals, RC airplanes, and real-world applications of physics.
Why I Started This?
I know exactly what it feels like to stare at a complex circuit diagram or a physics derivation and feel completely stuck. While I was pursuing my engineering degree, I realized that the hardest part isn’t the math—it’s finding someone to explain the “why” behind the formulas, how those concepts actually apply in the real world.
I built this site because I wanted to create the resource I wish I had: a place where we stop memorizing and start actually seeing how the world works.
What You’ll Find Here
Throughout my time in engineering, I have worked in two technical clubs. At MaRS (MARS Research Station), I worked on the Electronics Team while building the Rover. In TAD (Talpade Aero Design), I served as the DSA (Design and Structural Analysis) Team Lead, where I explored airplane design and aerodynamics in greater depth.

I genuinely believe that a perfect blend of Mechanical Engineering and Electronics allows us to broaden our possibilities for building even more interesting projects. But again, most students make the mistake of jumping directly into IoT projects (Microcontrollers, etc.) instead of focusing on the fundamentals of electronics. Here, we aim to fill that gap by focusing on fundamentals while also building practical projects alongside the theory.
Many students complain that, though they understand the theoretical part of the concept very well, they still struggle to solve problems based on that concept. To address this problem, the Physics section focuses on conceptual derivations, intuitive problem-solving approaches, and methods for quicker calculations in competitive exams.
My goal is to help students and learners not just understand how to solve problems but also grasp why things work the way they do.
A Little About Me
I’m Saurabh, a Mechanical Engineering student in my final semester at the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing, Kancheepuram (IIITDM Kancheepuram), also known as IIIT Chennai. My interests range from physics and electronics to fluid dynamics, FEA, and CFD analysis. I’m also the author of Life Lessons from Physics, a book aimed at showing what Physics would have to tell if it were made to give a lecture on Life. This website is my independent project where I reflect on my ongoing journey of learning.
