Why I Started This?

I know exactly what it feels like to stare at a complex circuit diagram or a physics derivation and feel completely stuck. While I was pursuing my engineering degree, I realized that the hardest part isn’t the math—it’s finding someone to explain the “why” behind the formulas, the application part of all the theory studied.

I built this site because I wanted to create the resource I wish I had: a place where we stop memorizing and start actually seeing how the world works.

What You’ll Find Here

Throughout my time in engineering, I have worked in two technical clubs – MaRS (MARS Research Station) and TAD (Talpade Aero Design), where I explored the world of electronics while building the Rover as a part of the Electronics Team in MaRS and got to know more about the Design Aspect of an Airplane while I was the DSA (Design and Structural Analysis) Team Lead in TAD Club. I genuinely believe that a perfect blend of Mechanical Engineering and Electronics allows us to broaden our possibilities for building even more interesting projects. But again, most students make the mistake of jumping directly into IoT projects (Microcontrollers, etc.) instead of focusing on the fundamentals of electronics. Here, we try to exactly fill in that gap and also build many projects simultaneously.

Many students complain that, though they understand the theoretical part of the concept very well, they still struggle to solve problems based on that concept. To address this problem, in the Physics section, you will see conceptual derivations and some tricks that can be used for quicker calculations in your competitive exams and much more.

My goal is to help students and learners not just understand how to solve problems but also grasp why things work the way they do.

A Little About Me

I’m Saurabh, a Mechanical Engineering student in my final semester at Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing, Kancheepuram (also known as IIIT Chennai), and my interests range from physics and electronics to fluid dynamics, FEA, and CFD analysis. I’m also the author of Life Lessons from Physics, a book aimed at showing what Physics would have to tell if it were made to give a lecture on Life. This website is my independent project where I reflect on my ongoing journey of learning.
